We are the First Baptist Church of Roanoke, TX and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for your interest in our church. We hope that you find our website useful as you search for a new church home, seek ministry opportunities in the Roanoke area, or simply desire to know more about who we are and what we're about.

Our Mission
Our mission is to be empowered by God to guide people to faith in Christ and to growth in Christ- likeness. Much like that show we're all familiar with, at FBC Roanoke, everybody knows your name. From the moment you walk through our door, we will invest our time, energy and prayers into faithfully meeting your needs, leading you in genuine worship of our Father, and encouraging you as we seek to help you form a closer relationship with Him.

We believe in quality and not quantity, that the true measure of a church is not found in attendance figures, but in the quality of each member's walk with Christ. And it is our hope that we always provide you with an environment that allows you to learn more about our Savior and come to know Him personally, and to fellowship with others who share your love for our Lord, so that as a body of believers, we can faithfully serve Him and follow His great commission.

Our Services
We at FBC Roanoke are devoted to teaching God's Word - undeterred and unchanged - acknowledging it as the one and absolute truth and authority for our lives. We offer two services every Sunday morning, both of which are led by our pastor Bruce Barber...

• Traditional Service (9:30am) - The first service in the morning, beginning at 9:30, consists of a more traditional style of worship including hymns led by our Choir. During this time, the following Bible Study classes will also be in session: Toddlers, Children's classes, The Youth, College & Career, Adult I, and Adult II. Also during this time, the nursery will be available.
• Contemporary Service (10:45am) - The second service, beginning at 10:45am, consists of more contemporary style worship featuring our Praise Band, leading us in various songs from today's familiar Christian artists such as Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, and Paul Baloche. During this time, the following Bible Study classes will also be in session: Adult III, Harvesters, and Pacesetters. Also during this time, the nursery will be available as well as toddler care and "Children's Church".
