Bruce Barber, the Pastor
The First Baptist Church of Roanoke is very blessed to have Bruce Barber as senior pastor. Bruce answered the call to be our pastor back in the Fall of 2005, and we couldn't be more pleased that God has brought him to us, as well as his wife Lisa and his children Josh and Cydney. Bruce's desire is to faithfully serve our church and our Heavenly Father and ensure that His Word is read and preached with passion, Spirit, and truth.
We truly believe that FBC Roanoke is growing, through the submission of our congregation to God's will for His church and through Pastor Bruce's leadership and constantly challenging us to recognize Jesus' Great Commission (Matt. 28) as the focus of our lives.

Steve Brewton, the Music Minister
Steve has been faithfully serving our church as our Minister of Music for the past 6 years. He began as an interim Minister in July 2001 and later felt God leading him to accept a permanent role in January of 2002. Steve is both our Choir Director as well as the Lead Guitar/Vocals for our Praise Band.
It is truly a blessing to have Steve, his wife Cindy, and his sons Seth and Caleb as part of our congregation.
